Biographies
(website) David is Co-founder and Managing Partner of Bridge Partners LLC, working on Outside Board Director and senior level assignments across all functions, as well as focusing on diversity searches. He previously led Whitehead Mann's Retail and Diversity practices. Prior to this, David was a Managing Director with Pendleton James Associates, and was with Korn/Ferry International, serving as VP of the Worldwide Retail/Fashion specialty practice, as well as being responsible for the diversity initiative. David served for 12 years as SVP Human Resources for R.H. Macy & Co, Inc, where he was responsible for the human resources/labor relations function affecting 50,000 employees in five divisions in the US and 17 foreign buying offices. From 1987 to 1992, David was a member of Macy's Board of Directors. His career at Macy's began in Bamberger's, where he held a variety of merchandising and HR positions. In 1981 he joined the corporate office as VP Executive Development. He was promoted to SVP Human Resources in 1983, and added the labor relations responsibility in 1984. David serves on the board of Directors of Zale Corporation, Hanover Direct, and Selective Insurance Group. He is an active member of several community and scholastic boards, including the board of trustees of Morristown Memorial Hospital, Drew University and the Jackie Robinson Foundation. He received a BS degree from Monmouth University.
